Amazon cuts prices on 2026 Mac mini, MacBook Air and accessories during Prime Day

Amazon has rolled out a series of steep discounts on Apple’s newest Mac lineup as part of its Prime Day promotion. Updated on October 6, the retailer is offering record‑low prices on several 2026 Mac mini configurations, the latest Mac Studio, a range of M5‑based MacBook Air models, and a handful of Apple peripherals.

Mac mini and Mac Pro price cuts

The centerpiece of the sale is the 2026 Mac mini, now available with the M6 chip at two memory‑storage tiers. The entry‑level 16‑GB/256‑GB model is listed for $769, down from its regular $899 price tag, while the 16‑GB/512‑GB version sells for $950, reduced from $1,099. Both figures represent the lowest prices recorded since the devices launched.

For customers seeking more performance, the M5 Max‑equipped Mac mini with 24 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is priced at $1,550, a $149 discount from its $1,699 standard price. The same discount level applies to the 2026 M5 Max Mac Pro, also listed at $1,550 against a regular $1,699 cost.

MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Pro discounts

Amazon’s reductions extend across the entire M5 MacBook Air family, with $200 off every configuration currently offered. The 13‑inch Air with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage now costs $1,099, while the 1‑TB version is $1,399. The top‑spec 13‑inch model, equipped with 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, is priced at $1,599. The larger 15‑inch variants follow the same pattern: $1,299 for the 16 GB/512 GB model, $1,599 for the 16 GB/1 TB version, and $1,799 for the 24 GB/1 TB configuration.

In the Mac Studio line, the 2026 M5 Max model with 36 GB of RAM is now listed at $2,300, a $199 reduction from its $2,499 list price, marking the deepest discount seen since the product’s launch.

While MacBook Pro deals remain limited, Amazon is offering a $500 cut on the 14‑inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro equipped with 24 GB RAM and a 2 TB SSD. The discounted price of $2,699 is $100 below the pre‑price‑hike manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $2,799.

Accessory savings

Apple’s peripheral lineup is also part of the promotion. The newly released 2026 Magic Keyboard is available for $80, down from $99, while the Magic Mouse sees discounts of up to 25 %. The white version sells for $60 (regular $79) and the black version for $80 (regular $99).

These reductions come amid broader Prime Day activity that also featured low pricing on AirPods Pro 3, though the focus of Amazon’s current offers is clearly on Apple’s desktop and laptop computers.

Shoppers looking to upgrade to Apple’s latest silicon‑powered Macs can therefore expect the most competitive pricing of the season, with discounts spanning from entry‑level mini computers to high‑end professional workstations and essential accessories.
