For video, the handset supports Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, a feature drawn from the flagship S26 line that stabilises footage while keeping the horizon level.
One of the standout AI‑driven tools is My FanCam, originally introduced on Samsung’s foldable devices. The feature can lock onto a selected person in a video frame and automatically re‑centre the subject as they move, simplifying hands‑free recording. Photo Assist allows users to edit images using natural‑language prompts, such as changing the time of day, adding objects or restoring missing elements, with the ability to review and undo each modification individually.

The Galaxy S26 FE ships with One UI 9, Samsung’s latest user interface that sits atop Android 17. This is the first S26‑series device to launch with the new UI version. The Now Brief widget now supports customisable briefing cards that can display weather, wellness data and other personalised information, with the option for users to create their own cards via prompts.

Support services are also expanded. Samsung Care+ is compatible with the S26 FE, and One UI 9 introduces a dedicated Warranty and Care hub where users can manage their Samsung Care+ subscription and other device‑support options.
New owners receive a six‑month complimentary trial of Google AI Pro, which bundles additional artificial‑intelligence features and 5 TB of cloud storage. Samsung lists the regular subscription price for the service at $19.99 per month.
