Cyberleek leaks new GTA 6 footage ahead of November launch

Another wave of unauthorized material from Rockstar Games’ upcoming title Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced online. The user—or group—calling itself Cyberleek posted a series of video clips, screenshots and map excerpts that appear to showcase portions of the game’s open world, character interactions and vehicle customisation. The leaks arrive as Rockstar officially confirms a November 19, 2026 launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, though a PC release date remains unannounced.

What the new leaks reveal

Since resurfacing in October after a 60‑day hiatus, Cyberleek has uploaded more than ten distinct pieces of content. Among the visual material are cropped images of several in‑game locations, including Dalton Island, Tequesta Retreat, Gloriana Key and Catalan Key. One screenshot purports to show the entire game map, offering a bird’s‑eye view of the fictional Vice City region that the title is expected to revisit.

Gameplay clips feature the protagonist identified as Jason engaging in a variety of activities. He is shown playing basketball, piloting aircraft over the city skyline, and racing high‑performance cars in first‑person view. Other moments capture Jason evading police, crashing a vehicle at a gas station, visiting a video‑game store and entering a strip club. A brief scene also depicts a nude group and a fictional healing pill called “Zombix,” which the footage suggests loses potency with repeated use.

The final segment of one clip shows Jason stealing a hot‑rod and fleeing law enforcement. The chase culminates in a cutscene that introduces Lucia Caminos, described as the game’s second playable protagonist. Cyberleek compiled a separate four‑minute‑and‑half video that focuses on Lucia, offering minor story spoilers, though Rockstar has not confirmed any of the details.

Legal actions and authenticity concerns

Take‑Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, has taken steps to identify the source of the leaks. On August 20, the firm filed subpoenas directed at Microsoft and Discord, seeking information that could reveal the leaker’s identity. The subpoenas also extended to Google and X Corp. According to reporting by The Verge, the legal filings referenced “stolen content,” a phrase that does not, on its own, verify the authenticity of each leaked clip.

Rockstar has warned players that the circulating videos have not been independently verified and may contain spoilers. The company advises fans to rely on official announcements posted on the Rockstar Games Newswire for confirmed information.

Official announcements and upcoming content

Beyond the leak‑driven buzz, Rockstar has released several concrete details about Grand Theft Auto VI. The release date for the console versions is set for November 19, 2026. No official timeline has been provided for a PC launch.

In a separate communication, Rockstar confirmed that the game will feature six radio stations covering Latin music, country, African music, heavy metal, pop and Southern hip‑hop. The title will also introduce on‑demand podcasts, and players will be able to listen through headphones or earbuds, expanding the in‑game audio experience.

Music also plays a role in the broader promotional strategy. On September 17, Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original songs. Six singles have already been released, featuring contributions from artists such as Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen and PinkPantheress.

While the leaked footage provides a tantalising glimpse of Vice City’s streets and characters, the timing and veracity of additional leaks remain uncertain. Rockstar’s ongoing legal efforts suggest that further unauthorized disclosures could be pursued, but the company has not indicated when—or if—more material will surface.

Fans and observers are encouraged to monitor the official Rockstar Games Newswire for updates, and to treat unverified videos with caution, especially given the potential for story spoilers to spread across social media platforms.
