We have now decided that from August 1, 2025, that is, from the July bill itself, all domestic consumers of the state will not have to pay any money for electricity up to 125 units<\/em>,\u201d the Bihar CM posted on his social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Chief Minister, the announcement will benefit a large number of people \u2013 almost 1 crore 67 lakh families in the state. He also informed about the state government&#8217;s decision to install solar panels at household rooftops or nearby public places with the consent of domestic consumers. This decision would be implemented in the upcoming three years, wherein under the <em><strong>Kutir Jyoti<\/strong><\/em> scheme, the state government will bear the entire cost of installing solar power plants for extremely poor families and provide appropriate support for the rest.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, apart from the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/05\/03\/top-5-government-apps-you-should-download-today\/\">electricity offering<\/a> in order to provide benefits closer to the poll period, his party JD (U), Janta Dal (United) officials and cabinet has also been instructed along with the education department officials to identify teacher vacancies in the existing government schools across Bihar and initiate the process for holding the Teachers&#8217; Recruitment Exam (TRE) &#8211; 4 as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>In TRE-1 and 2 phases, over 1.70 lakh and 70,000 teachers respectively were appointed, while in TRE-3, 66,603 posts could be filled against the existing 87,774 vacancies at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The education department has been instructed to identify vacancies of teachers in government schools and initiate the process to conduct the TRE-4 examination at the earliest. The state government has already clarified that the benefit of 35 per cent reservation for women in appointments will be given to those who are residents of Bihar<\/em>,\u201d Kumar wrote via his X handle on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to officials of the education department, the TRE-4 is expected to provide opportunities to over 1.20 lakh teacher aspirants, and the notification in this regard is also expected to be released soon. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the test for primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary teachers in schools.
