In addition, he will also lay the foundation stone for water purification and maintenance works at various kunds &#8211; including <em>Ramkund, Mandakini, Shankuldhara<\/em> and others.<\/p>\n<p>From roads to riverfronts, schools to smart electricity, temples to tourist hubs, the projects span key development sectors and aim to achieve holistic urban transformation, cultural rejuvenation, improved connectivity, and enhanced quality of life for the citizens in Varanasi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>For my family members in Kashi, tomorrow, August 2, is a very special day. Around 11 in the morning, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects related to education, health, sports, tourism, and connectivity. On this occasion, I will also have the privilege of releasing the 20th instalment of PM-Kisan<\/em>,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/07\/25\/pm-narendra-modi-breaks-this-record-of-former-indira-gandhi-receives-a-grand-welcome-in-maldives\/\">PM Modi<\/a> wrote on X.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Road &amp; Connectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The domain of infrastructure will see the leader inaugurate strengthening projects of key roadway networks. A new railway overbridge at Hardattpur will ease congestion around the busy junction and provide respite to daily commuters. He will also lay the foundation for multiple urban and rural road projects \u2014 including several crucial corridors and new railway overbridges in main city areas and junctions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Electricity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the most important focus areas \u2013 Electricity will see boosting the power supply in the region, as the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of various works under the \u2018<em>Smart Distribution Project<\/em>\u2019 and the undergrounding of electrical infrastructure worth over\u00a0INR 880 crores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temples &amp; Tourism<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a major boost to the tourism sector, the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/07\/25\/pm-narendra-modi-breaks-this-record-of-former-indira-gandhi-receives-a-grand-welcome-in-maldives\/\">Prime Minister Modi<\/a> will inaugurate the redevelopment of multiple riverfront Kuccha Ghats. He will lay the foundation stone for restoration work at the ancient and revered Mahadev Temple and revamping the birthplace of several freedom fighters, City Facility Centres at Sarnath, redevelopment of the country\u2019s literary maestro, Munshi Premchand&#8217;s ancestral house and upgradation of the museum, among other projects in the pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the development of an Urban Miyawaki Forest at Kanchanpur and the redevelopment and beautification of Shaheed Udyan and 21 other parks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Th third-term Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for water purification and maintenance works at various kunds, along with the installation of four floating platforms. To ensure access to potable water in rural areas, the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/07\/03\/pm-narendra-modi-awarded-ghanas-highest-civilian-honour\/\">Prime Minister<\/a> will also inaugurate 47 Rural Drinking Water Schemes under the \u2018<em>Jal Jeevan Mission<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to that, <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/07\/03\/pm-narendra-modi-awarded-ghanas-highest-civilian-honour\/\">Prime Minister Modi<\/a> will also inaugurate the upgradation of 53 school buildings within the municipal boundary. He will also lay the foundation stone for several educational projects, including the construction of a new district library and rejuvenation of Government High Schools among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medical Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the hospitals and healthcare of Varanasi, advanced medical equipment installations, including robotic surgery and CT scan facilities, are underway at the two renowned hospital institutions &#8211; Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital.
