The <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/07\/19\/sharda-university-student-commits-suicide-02-employees-arrested\/\">16-year-old boy jumped<\/a> from the elevated Rajendra Place Metro station, leaving behind a handwritten note in his bag in which he accused his teachers and the headmistress of persistent harassment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"1180\">Following the incident, the school administration suspended three teachers and a headmistress after an official order by principal Robert Fernandes cited the \u201c<em>seriousness of the allegations<\/em>\u201d and the registration of a First Information Report (FIR). Meanwhile, the Delhi government has set up a five-member high-level committee to investigate the matter. He recalled that the teenager had complained about the teachers soon after he entered Class 10. In fact, he had reassured the boy just a day before the tragedy that he would shift him to another school after the board exams.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2206\" data-end=\"2634\">The father further claimed that the staff had repeatedly threatened the student with expulsion, adding additional pressure on him. About three months ago, he too was summoned to the school over what he described as a &#8216;minor issue&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201c<em style=\"font-size: 1em\">They told me he talks in class. I said, if kids his age don\u2019t talk, who will? Other students said that parents were frequently called for trivial matters. \u201cT<em>hey call parents even if someone spills water in the class. Teachers use abusive language and dismiss students openly<\/em>,\u201d one student alleged.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3406\" data-end=\"3721\">Even more disturbing are claims that the boy did try to seek help. According to his friends, he had confided his suicidal thoughts to the school counsellor, but the counsellor allegedly dismissed his concerns. \u201cHis friends told us that he had spoken to the counsellor, but she ignored it,\u201d the student\u2019s uncle said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3723\" data-end=\"3911\">The father revealed that although the teen discussed his troubles with peers, he never openly shared suicidal thoughts with his family. \u201cWe had no idea he was suffering silently,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3913\" data-end=\"3980\"><strong data-start=\"3917\" data-end=\"3980\">CCTV Footage Shows Boy Helping a Woman Moments Before Death<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"3982\" data-end=\"4175\">Investigators are examining the CCTV footage from both the school and the metro station.
