This ceremony marks the revival of a tradition said to date back to the <strong data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"592\">Treta Yug<\/strong>, when the flag of the Ayodhya dynasty last flew atop the temple dedicated to Lord Ram.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"725\"><strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"725\">A Historic Ceremony at the Ram Temple<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"1154\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/11\/24\/india-canada-partnership-2-0-pm-modi-resumes-trade-talks\/\">Prime Minister Modi<\/a> will hoist a <strong data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"783\">22-foot saffron flag<\/strong>, specially crafted to mark the completion of the Ram Temple\u2019s first major construction phase. Made by a parachute expert from Ahmedabad in accordance with Defence Ministry specifications, the flag measures <strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1012\">22 feet by 11 feet<\/strong> and weighs between two and three kilograms. It has been custom-designed to suit the temple\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1126\">161-foot <\/strong>peak\u00a0and a <strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1153\">42-foot flagpole<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1193\">The flag features two sacred symbols:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1321\">The Sun, representing Lord Ram\u2019s <em data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1246\">Suryavanshi<\/em> heritage and qualities like energy, radiance, virtue, and enlightenment.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1401\">The sacred<strong data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1343\"> \u2018Om\u2019<\/strong>, symbolizing spiritual power and universal consciousness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1443\"><strong data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1443\">Auspicious Timing: Vivah Panchami<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1842\">The ceremony is aligned with the auspicious window between <strong data-start=\"1503\" data-end=\"1528\">11:52 am and 12:35 pm<\/strong>, coinciding with <strong data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1564\">Vivah Panchami<\/strong>, the divine day celebrating the marriage of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. According to the Prime Minister\u2019s Office, the date is also significant as it marks the <strong data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1761\">martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur<\/strong>, the ninth Sikh Guru, who meditated in <a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/09\/17\/narendra-modi-at-75-11-years-of-leadership-vision-for-a-new-india\/\">Ayodhya<\/a> for 48 hours in the 17th century.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"1878\"><strong data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1878\">Rituals Led by 108 Acharyas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1879\" data-end=\"2135\">The Dhwajarohan Utsav will be performed under the supervision of a distinguished panel of <strong data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"1985\">108 Acharyas<\/strong> from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India. The proceedings will follow traditional Vedic practices as guided by noted Kashi scholar <strong data-start=\"2113\" data-end=\"2134\">Ganeshwar Shastri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2137\" data-end=\"2322\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newsraise.com\/in\/2025\/11\/24\/india-canada-partnership-2-0-pm-modi-resumes-trade-talks\/\">PM Modi<\/a> will also tour various sections of the temple complex, including seven sub-shrines, and later participate in an aarti. He is expected to address devotees gathered for the event.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2324\" data-end=\"2373\"><strong data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2373\">Ayodhya Prepared for Thousands of Visitors<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2374\" data-end=\"2623\">With unprecedented enthusiasm among devotees, Ayodhya has undergone extensive beautification ahead of the Prime Minister\u2019s visit. Roads have been cleaned, new signages installed, and sanitation teams have carried out thorough maintenance operations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2921\">The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has invited around 6,000 guests, and entry to the temple complex will remain restricted to visitors with QR-coded passes until 2:30 pm.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2921\">To ensure wider public participation, the city has installed over 50 large LED screens to broadcast the ceremony live.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2921\">In honour of the momentous occasion, the idol of Ram Lalla and all deities within the temple complex will be adorned in a golden-yellow attire, creating a visually divine experience for worshippers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"3200\" data-end=\"3236\"><strong data-start=\"3203\" data-end=\"3236\">Temple Development Milestones<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3237\" data-end=\"3600\">This major ceremony comes less than two years after the <strong data-start=\"3293\" data-end=\"3312\">Pran Pratishtha<\/strong> of the Ram Lalla idol performed by PM Modi on <strong data-start=\"3359\" data-end=\"3379\">January 22, 2024<\/strong>. The temple\u2019s Phase 1 was inaugurated the same day.
