All four phones will ship from August 20, and Amazon is supplementing the launch with extra trade‑in cash for eligible devices.

Pixel 11 lineup specifications

The base Pixel 11 retains the Tensor G6 processor found in the higher‑end phones but drops the HiLight RGB LED notification strip. It ships with 12 GB of RAM, a 48 MP main sensor (1/1.56‑inch) that is larger than the Pixel 10’s 48 MP 1/2.0‑inch unit, and the same 10.8 MP 5×/112 mm telephoto and 13 MP ultra‑wide lenses. Wireless charging is upgraded to 25 W via Pixelsnap magnetic technology, while wired charging remains at 30 W. Battery capacity is unchanged from the previous generation.

The Pixel 11 Pro shares the 6.3‑inch OLED screen size of the base model but upgrades the display to a 1280p+ LTPO panel. It includes the HiLight RGB LED next to the camera module, which also serves Gemini AI functions. RAM stays at 12 GB, but the Pro adds a 50 MP main sensor (1/1.3‑inch), a 48 MP ultra‑wide with autofocus, and a new 48 MP telephoto sensor (1/1.95‑inch) with a 5×/106 mm focal length. Wireless charging matches the base phone at 25 W, and wired charging stays at 30 W.

The larger Pixel 11 Pro XL offers a 6.8‑inch LTPO display at 1334p+ resolution and a 5,115 mAh battery—85 mAh smaller than the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Charging speeds are modestly increased to 45 W wired and 25 W wireless, with tests expected to confirm a 75 % charge in 30 minutes.

Google’s foldable, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 10.1 mm folded (5.0 mm unfolded) and weighing 239 g. It now uses the same 48 MP 1/1.56‑inch main sensor as the vanilla phone, replacing the older 48 MP 1/2.0‑inch module. Battery capacity has been reduced to 4,806 mAh, falling below the 5,000 mAh of Samsung’s Z Fold8 Ultra and the 5,015 mAh of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Wireless charging is 25 W, while wired charging remains at 30 W.

All Pixel 11 models come with a baseline of 256 GB storage. The Pro and Pro XL start with 12 GB of RAM, while the Fold ships with 16 GB. To obtain 16 GB of RAM in the Pro models, buyers must select the 512 GB or 1 TB storage options. The standard Pixel 11 is limited to 12 GB of RAM.

Trade‑in incentives and pricing

During the pre‑order window, Amazon adds a trade‑in bonus on top of the device’s assessed value. For the Pixel 11 Pro XL (but not the smaller Pro) and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Amazon offers an extra €100 when the traded device is an older Pixel. Even non‑Pixel phones qualify for a €400 bonus.

Google has not yet released the Pixel 11a, which is expected later in the year. In the meantime, the Pixel 10a remains the budget option, now discounted by €200 for the 256 GB variant. The 10a runs on the older Tensor G4 chip, provides 8 GB of RAM, and uses a 48 MP 1/2.0‑inch sensor without a dedicated telephoto lens.

Other Google accessories see minor updates: the Pixel Watch 5 keeps the same chassis, display and Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 2 chipset but doubles internal storage to 64 GB while retaining 2 GB of RAM. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 gain an Olive colour option and software upgrades, including Dynamic ANC and an enhanced Live Translate mode, delivered via an update to existing units.

How the Pixel 11 series stacks up against Samsung

Samsung’s foldable portfolio now includes the Galaxy Z Fold8 (wide) and the Z Fold8 Ultra. The wide Z Fold8 arrived less than a month ago and carries a modest discount. The Ultra, successor to the Z Fold7, measures 8.9 mm folded (4.1 mm unfolded) and weighs 215 g, making it noticeably thinner and lighter than Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold. It also houses a larger 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W wired and 20 W wireless (non‑magnetic) charging. Camera-wise, the Ultra sports a 200 MP main sensor (1/1.3‑inch), a 10 MP 3× telephoto (67 mm) and a 50 MP ultra‑wide lens.

Samsung’s flip‑style offering, the Galaxy Z Flip8, competes indirectly with the Motorola Razr line, as Google does not produce a flip phone. Trade‑in bonuses for the Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 are currently lower than they were a week earlier.

The Galaxy S26 series, launched several months ago, has seen its prices drop substantially. The S26 Ultra now carries a €500 discount, bringing the base 12 GB/256 GB model under €1,000. The 1 TB S26 Ultra, the only S26 variant with 16 GB of RAM, is priced at €1,450—just €50 more than the base Pixel 11 Pro XL (12 GB/256 GB). The 6.3‑inch Galaxy S26 is priced below €800 for the base configuration, while the Pixel 11 Pro retails at €1,200 and the vanilla Pixel 11 at €1,000. Notably, the S26+ is cheaper than the standard S26, making it the most affordable model in the S26 lineup.

Overall, Google’s new Pixel 11 family brings higher RAM configurations, larger camera sensors and faster wireless charging, while Samsung counters with aggressive price cuts on its flagship foldables and S‑series phones. Consumers can weigh the trade‑in bonuses, storage options and battery capacities to decide which ecosystem aligns best with their priorities.

Google’s Pixel 11 lineup arrives on pre‑order with upgraded specs, new foldable, and Amazon trade‑in bonuses, while Samsung trims prices on its Z Fold8 and S26 series.

[299
1423,1601,1603,1602,1604
post-1716","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-foldable-phones","tag-google-pixel","tag-samsung-galaxy","tag-smartphone-pricing","tag-trade-in-offers","entry
["GET
