Each item was presented with detailed design cues, hardware specifications and tentative market roll‑out regions.

Edge 70 Plus Smartphone

The Edge 70 Plus joins Motorola’s expanding Edge family and arrives in four Pantone‑certified colour finishes: Gray Lilac, Milky Blue, Mountain View and Sage. Each finish carries a distinct texture. Gray Lilac combines a mauve hue with a grey base and uses an acetate finish. Milky Blue draws inspiration from early‑morning skies and features a soft‑luxe texture. Mountain View presents a silk‑like finish with green tones reminiscent of ancient forests. Sage offers a muted eucalyptus‑after‑rain green, also with a soft‑luxe surface.

Design-wise the phone is quad‑curved on both front and rear panels, a choice Motorola says reduces sharp edges for a more comfortable grip. The front houses a 6.78‑inch AMOLED display refreshed at 144 Hz and validated by Pantone for colour accuracy. Audio is supported by two Hi‑Res‑certified stereo speakers.

Under the hood the Edge 70 Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 system‑on‑chip paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory. The camera module features a 200 MP primary sensor, which Motorola claims is the highest‑resolution camera it has placed in a phone. The sensor includes optical image stabilization, up to 10× digital zoom, 4K video capture and Pantone‑validated colour and skin‑tone rendering. A dedicated macro lens and a 32 MP front‑facing selfie camera complement the imaging suite.

Power is supplied by a 6,500 mAh battery capable of 45 W wired charging and a bypass‑charging mode aimed at extended gaming sessions. The Edge 70 Plus will be released in select European and Middle Eastern markets in the coming weeks, with pricing details to be announced later.

Watch Ultra Wearable

Motorola’s Watch Ultra is a 46 mm smartwatch built to IP68 and 5 ATM water‑resistance standards, promising up to two days of active use. The device runs Google’s Wear OS and is driven by a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor. Its 1.5‑inch OLED display can reach a peak brightness of 2,700 nits.

Health and fitness tracking have been enhanced through a partnership with Polar, the company behind professional‑grade heart‑rate sensors. Features include a breathing exercise called “Setene,” detailed sleep monitoring with Nightly Recharge and Sleep Plus Stages, a personalized sleep score, and a Running Coach. Additional Polar‑derived metrics such as Activity Goal, Activity Score, Active Intensity Zone, Inactivity Alert, Smart Calories and Energy Sources are also integrated.

The Watch Ultra adds dual‑band GPS and, for the first time on a Motorola watch, built‑in LTE connectivity, allowing operation without a paired phone. Google Pay is supported for contactless payments. The case is stainless steel and offered in silver and black, with four strap options: two breathable silicone straps (Pantone Black Beauty and Mountain View) and two genuine leather straps (Pantone Black Beauty and Nuthatch), all in a 22 mm width.

Motorola plans to launch the Watch Ultra in selected European, Middle Eastern, Latin American, North American and Asia‑Pacific markets in the weeks ahead.

Razr 70 Swarovski Edition and Snap Magnetic Charger

Continuing its collaboration with Swarovski, Motorola unveiled a special‑edition Razr 70 (marketed as Razr 2026 in the United States). The device is offered exclusively in a Pantone‑named “Meteorite” colour with a quilted soft‑touch finish. Thirty‑five hand‑positioned Swarovski crystals in a “Silver Night” setting decorate the back, while a larger 32‑facet crystal is embedded in the hinge. A clear protective case is included to showcase the sparkle.

Under the decorative exterior the Razr 70 retains its familiar hardware: a 3.6‑inch cover display, a 6.9‑inch Extreme AMOLED folding main screen, a dual‑camera system led by a 50 MP primary sensor with AI features, and a 4,800 mAh battery that Motorola says can exceed 36 hours of use. The Swarovski‑crystal edition will be sold as a limited‑run product in most global markets, though pricing has not yet been disclosed.

Motorola also presented the Snap, a magnetic wireless charger compatible with the Qi 2.2 standard and capable of 25 W output. The charger uses strong magnetic alignment, supports magnetic cases, and includes over‑heat and over‑charge protection along with zero standby power draw. For Motorola phones that support the company’s proprietary charging protocol, the Snap can deliver up to 30 W. A 1.5 m braided USB‑C cable is supplied, and in Europe the charger will be available in a bundle with an adjustable aluminium stand featuring a silicone‑lined holder and an Alcantara base.

The Snap charger is slated for release in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America and the Middle East in the coming weeks.

Overall, Motorola’s IFA 2026 announcements span high‑end mobile photography, advanced health tracking, luxury‑styled folding devices and a next‑generation magnetic charging solution, signaling the brand’s intent to compete across premium and mid‑range segments in multiple regions.

At IFA 2026 Motorola introduced the Edge 70 Plus smartphone, the Watch Ultra wearable, a Swarovski‑crystal Razr 70 edition and a magnetic Snap charger, detailing design, hardware and rollout plans.

[299
1927,1380,1382,1852,1928
post-1904","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-ifa-2026","tag-motorola","tag-smartphone","tag-smartwatch","tag-swarovski","entry
["GET
