Marketed as a premium cooling solution, the new cassette\u2011type unit combines artificial\u2011intelligence\u2011driven climate management, ambient edge lighting and SmartThings\u2011enabled smart connectivity for both residential and commercial environments.<\/p>\n<h2>Ambient lighting and design<\/h2>\n<p>One of the headline features of the Infinite One\u2011Way Cassette AC is Samsung\u2019s Ambient Edge Lighting system. The technology transforms the ceiling\u2011mounted air\u2011conditioner into a visual design element, offering nine lighting modes that draw inspiration from the human circadian rhythm. Users can select Warm, Natural or Cool lighting tones, each available in high\u2011 and low\u2011intensity settings. An additional Smart Lighting Intensity mode automatically modulates brightness in response to the surrounding environment, allowing the unit to adapt its ambience throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>According to Samsung, the lighting suite is intended to complement modern interior aesthetics while delivering functional illumination. The company positions the product for consumers and businesses that seek a blend of thermal comfort, visual design and intelligent technology.<\/p>\n<h2>WindFree cooling and AI integration<\/h2>\n<p>The cassette AC incorporates Samsung\u2019s upgraded Wide WindFree\u2122 technology. The system employs roughly 17,200 micro\u2011holes across the unit\u2019s panel to distribute air evenly, creating a draft\u2011free cooling experience. Samsung claims that the wider panel design reduces the sensation of cold air blasts, lowers operating noise and improves overall energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Artificial\u2011intelligence capabilities are embedded in the form of an AI Comfort Mode, which learns user preferences and adjusts cooling parameters accordingly. Built\u2011in Wi\u2011Fi enables SmartThings connectivity, allowing owners to manage temperature settings remotely via smartphones. SmartThings integration also brings voice\u2011control compatibility, energy\u2011use monitoring, personalised cooling recommendations, usage analytics, a welcome\u2011cooling function and a pet\u2011care mode.<\/p>\n<p>To address indoor air quality, the unit is equipped with an Intertek\u2011certified Copper Anti\u2011Bacterial Filter. Samsung states that the filter can reduce certain harmful bacteria by up to 99\u202f% while capturing airborne particles. The external casing is constructed from Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA), a material that offers enhanced resistance to ultraviolet exposure and is designed to retain its appearance over prolonged use. The cassette\u2019s slim profile\u2014measuring 13.8\u202fcm in depth\u2014makes it suitable for premium interior installations where space is at a premium.<\/p>\n<h2>Pricing, configurations and market positioning<\/h2>\n<p>The Infinite One\u2011Way Cassette AC series will be sold nationwide through Samsung\u2019s commercial\u2011AC channel partners. The product line is offered in two configurations: Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Commercial Split (CAC). The VRF range is available in four capacity options\u20142.8\u202fkW, 3.6\u202fkW, 5.6\u202fkW and 7.1\u202fkW\u2014while the CAC lineup includes three variants of 3.5\u202fkW, 5.2\u202fkW and 7.1\u202fkW.<\/p>\n<p>Pricing for the new series starts at Rs\u202f1.6\u202flakh, inclusive of GST.
