This variability is intended to make route planning less predictable and to encourage players to adapt their strategies on the fly.<\/p>\n<h2>New Enemies and Weapon Adjustments<\/h2>\n<p>Frozen Trail 2.0 adds three enemy archetypes: the Bully, the Skulker and the Hydra. Alongside the new foes, two weapons join the roster\u2014the Bantam and the Stiletto. The Bantam assumes the role previously filled by the uncommon hand cannon, after the fan\u2011favorite Anvil was shifted from Green to Blue rarity. The Anvil Splitter can no longer be equipped as a mod; instead, it now serves as an upgrade component for the Amplified Anvil, which belongs to the newly introduced Amplified Weapons system.<\/p>\n<p>Explosive damage has been rebalanced as part of the update. Players can now deploy a Grappling Hook, Basic and Advanced Cameras, a Tether Launcher, a Yank Grenade, a Mountaineer\u2019s Detector, as well as musical items\u2014a Banjo and a Harmonica. The existing Snap Hook has been altered to have a shorter 18\u2011meter range, higher durability consumption and greater power cost, positioning it as a burst\u2011movement tool rather than a primary mobility option. At the midpoint of each branch, players now face a binary choice between two skills, while the end of each branch allows the selection of up to two skills from a set of three. This restructuring aims to streamline progression and give players more control over their build paths.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, the old Raider Decks and Cred currency have been replaced by a Reward Pass system and Reward Points. The Frozen Trail Pass offers 60 levels across Free and Premium tracks, while legacy Raider Decks are migrated to a Legacy Pass. Feats are now categorized into Easy, Medium and Hard tiers, and the update adds 22 new quests to the roster.<\/p>\n<h2>Additional Adjustments and Seasonal Content<\/h2>\n<p>Several quality\u2011of\u2011life changes accompany the major features. The maximum stash size increases by two levels, reaching 328 slots when Expedition bonuses are not applied. The \u201cSolo vs. Squads\u201d matchmaking mode has been removed for re\u2011evaluation, and loot values in the Riven Tides zone have risen by approximately 15\u202f%.<\/p>\n<p>Seasonal Twitch Drops continue through November\u202f4, offering an Oxygen Respirator and a Mailbox to viewers who watch eligible streams.<\/p>\n<h2>Known Issues and Planned Fixes<\/h2>\n<p>Embark Studios has documented a handful of known issues that persist after the launch of Frozen Trail 2.0. Reported problems include bugs related to the new Outpost and clipping incidents on Pendola Pass.
