To build anticipation for the global debut, the company released a short promotional video that centers on what it describes as “true-to-life imaging”.

New imaging philosophy

According to the manufacturer, smartphone photography has become progressively brighter, sharper and more saturated over recent years, to the point where captured images sometimes differ from the way people remember the original scene. Oppo positions the Find X10 line as a corrective measure, promising to bring photography closer to the actual appearance of the world.

The company attributes this ambition to a newly developed Lumo True Image Engine, which it says consists of three distinct modules. The Lumo Hyper Pixel Engine is intended to preserve fine detail, the Lumo True Color Engine focuses on accurate colour reproduction, and the Lumo Natural Tone Engine is designed to render natural tonal relationships. Oppo claims the combined effect is to capture scenes “as they really are, not as algorithms try to render them”.

In the same messaging, Oppo criticises a set of industry practices that it believes can distort realism. The company cites “oversaturated colors, over‑brightened faces, aggressive HDR” and “excessive sharpening” as common techniques that push images away from the original view. While no competitor is named, the remarks suggest a deliberate contrast with the more heavily processed aesthetic found in some rival devices.

Camera hardware and software specifications

From a hardware standpoint, the Find X10 series records 26‑megapixel photos by default across its entire lens range, which spans from an ultrawide perspective to a 9.9‑times optical zoom. This baseline resolution is higher than the 12‑megapixel standard seen in many contemporary flagships.

When users enable the Hasselblad Hi‑Res Mode, the phones can generate 50‑megapixel images at five different focal lengths, and they are also capable of producing full 200‑megapixel files from the native 200‑megapixel sensor. The True Color Camera incorporates a 24‑channel multispectral sensor and offers up to 15 EV of dynamic range, a combination that Oppo says improves white‑balance accuracy for skin tones, skies and foliage.

In automatic shooting mode, the device now applies the global tone curve derived from Hasselblad Master Mode. This adjustment is intended to deliver a softer, more natural look while reducing the intensity of local tone‑mapping algorithms.

Advanced video capabilities and ecosystem support

Video recording on the Find X10 Pro Max leverages Samsung‑co‑developed DeepPix technology, which provides up to 17 stops of single‑frame dynamic range. By default, the main camera records 4K video at 60 frames per second. All three rear cameras can capture 4K video at either 60 fps or 120 fps, and they also support 8K recording at 30 fps.

Additional professional‑grade features include support for O‑Log2 colour grading, Dolby Vision HDR, a real‑time lookup‑table (LUT) preview, and Open Gate Capture, which records the full 4:3 sensor area to facilitate post‑capture reframing.

Oppo has partnered with Blackmagic Design to optimise the Blackmagic Camera application for the Find X10 series, and it has collaborated with Tilta to assemble a Khronos Creator Kit for the Pro Max model. The kit comprises a protective case, interchangeable lens adapters, a tripod, a hand‑grip and an active cooling fan, providing creators with a ready‑made accessory set.

Pricing and availability for the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max will be disclosed on 21 October, with the Indian market slated to receive the devices a day later.

Oppo has begun promoting its Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max with a teaser that stresses a new “true-to-life” imaging approach, backed by the Lumo True Image Engine and high‑resolution sensors.

[299
2790,2975,2976,2084,2974
post-2694","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-find-x10","tag-imaging-technology","tag-mobile-video","tag-oppo","tag-smartphone-camera","entry
["GET
