The second group to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are persons over 60 years of age and persons between 45 and 59 years with comorbid conditions. Owing to the serious rise in the COVID-19 cases across the country, the Union Government decided to initiate the third phase from May 1st. And phase 3 of vaccination in India is all set to start from May 1st for the age group of 18-45 years.<\/p>\n<p>It is to be noted by everyone that there are no walk-in vaccinations from May 1, that is, phase 3 and registration is a must and should for taking vaccination and the registration for the same starts from April 28 on the Union government\u2019s online Co-Win and its Arogya Setu app. The inoculation process and documents to be provided to get the jab to remain the same. And also the officials stated, people aged above 45 years can still avail the facility of on-site registration to get vaccinated. On payment of fees, citizens aged between 18 and 45 years shall be automatically eligible to get vaccinated by the private Covid Vaccination Centres.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Central authorities appointed for the vaccination drive, COVID-19 vaccine producers will most probably be free to provide fifty percent doses to governments of state and contained in the open market. So, for this, they will have to make an advance declaration of the price ahead of May 1. A few of the states have decided to provide free vaccines to the people of the age group 18 to 45 years. The states who decided to give include: Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, amongst loads of others. Delhi has also decided to join the party to provide the vaccination to everyone. With the authorities deciding not to give free vaccines, here are the steps to register yourself for the vaccination.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Here are the steps on CoWin portal in order to get COVID-19 Vaccination appointments:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1. To get your registration done, you have to go to the website of the Union Government, www.cowin.gov.in<\/p>\n<p>2. Registration starts from 28th April for the age group of 18-45 years and will continue till everyone is vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>3. Get schedule your vaccination appointment<\/p>\n<p>4. Vaccination would be done at private centers for vaccination and only those Government Vaccination Centres where vaccines are procured directly by the respective State government.<\/p>\n<p>5. You will get your confirmation of appointment on the registered mobile number.<\/p>\n<p>6. While you go to vaccinate yourself, do not forget to carry the appointment slip and photo ID card which you had used while registering.<\/p>\n<p>The above steps to register for getting your vaccination appointments are provided by the Ministry of Health itself. Do follow these steps and do not neglect any of the above. Always wear a mask and do not remove it at any point of time before, during, or after vaccination. Do not think that once you get vaccinated, you are free from the virus. Though you got yourself vaccinated, always remember to wear a mask whenever you step out of your house.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government. Remember, this too shall pass. Do not believe in messages forwarded unless proved in front of you. Getting vaccinated is essential.
