Huawei Mate X Gets Improved Version Featuring Resistant Display, HiSilicon Kirin 990 Soc

Huawei Mate X gets improved version featuring resistant display, HiSilicon Kirin 990 SoC, as confirmed by Richard Yu, Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group CEO. While the present Mate X model is yet to arrive at business sectors like India and the US, its improved rendition is likely to be introduced as ahead of schedule as the first quarter of 2020.

The improved Huawei Mate X rendition with an updated design is set to dispatch at MWC 2020, as indicated by a report by French tech site Frandoid, refering to Richard Yu. It is hazy whether Huawei will keep on offering the equivalent foldable structure, which offers flexible screen that flips around its back when folded.

In August, a Mate X surfaced on China’s TENAA database that included pictures indicating unpretentious changes over what was divulged at MWC this year. The smartphone was recorded with model number Huawei TAH-AN00 and seemed to have changed button situations and an improved hinge structure.

Along with releasing the Mate X in China, Huawei displayed a slide giving a sneak look at the Mate XS that incorporated the HiSilicon Kirin 990 SoC alongside a coordinated 5G modem. This was not same as the Mate X that has the Kirin 980 SoC and a different Balong 5000 modem to empower 5G support.

Yu purportedly referenced that Huawei is in plans to dispatch its foldable smartphone in Europe in the first quarter of 2020. In any case, he didn’t explain whether the smartphone would be the current Mate X or its improved variant that would be exhibited at MWC in February.
