According to sources, the Donald Trump administration<\/a> has been weighing the possibility of imposing sanctions on European Union officials or member states responsible for implementing the newly introduced Digital Services Act<\/em><\/strong>, which has further strained trade relations between Washington and some EU states. Many countries, particularly in Europe, have introduced digital services taxes targeting sales revenue generated by major U.S. technology giants such as Google\u2019s parent company Alphabet, Meta\u2019s Facebook, Apple, and Amazon<\/em><\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n
