Games Workshop is launching a suite of new products for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game, centered around the Hedonites of Slaanesh faction. Alongside these releases, a new edition of the General’s Handbook will update the game’s rules for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n
The upcoming Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh will serve as a comprehensive guide to the faction, offering lore, updated rules, and miniature galleries. The book details the prideful, gluttonous, and envious followers of Slaanesh and includes warscrolls and new content for the Path to Glory campaign. A smaller Gamer’s Edition of the battletome will also be available, accompanied by warscroll and reference cards.<\/p>\n
New miniature sets are also part of the release. The Spearhead: Epicurean Revellers offers a fast-moving force led by a Thricefold Discord, supported by Daemonettes, Fiends, and Seekers. The Battleforce: The Decadent Host includes an army led by Sigvald, Prince of Slaanesh, featuring Slickblade Seekers, Myrmidesh Painbringers, Slaangor Fiendbloods, and Blissbarb Archers, designed as a starting point for The Decadent Host Army of Renown.<\/p>\n
Individual units will also be available, including the Lord of Hysteria, champions who merge with pleasure-daemons to wield frenzied powers. The Thricefold Discord, a unit of three daemons, can imbue themselves with powers of Sin to enhance their magical and combat abilities. Additionally, the Regiments of Renown: Accursed Reflection offers a collection of three Endless Spells and the Contorted Epitome, a champion capable of summoning Manifestations, which can be used together or separately in armies.<\/p>\n
Complementing these releases are Hedonites of Slaanesh Warscroll Cards and dice. The warscroll cards cover every unit in the battletome, along with two Spearheads: Epicurean Revellers and Blades of the Lurid Dream. The dice set features 16 pink marbled dice with gold pips and the faction symbol.<\/p>\n
The General’s Handbook 2026-27 introduces a full update to the game’s Matched Play rules. This edition includes 12 new battleplans, a new Aqshian Crusades system for linking games, updated Advanced Rules modules, and new background lore set in the Great Parch of Aqshy. The handbook is available in a regular edition with reference cards and objective markers, and a Warlord Edition that adds a token bag, punch-out tokens, and a game tracker.<\/p>\n
The release also includes new content for the Skaven faction, such as a squad of 10 Gutter Runners, specialized in stealth and close-quarters combat, accompanied by Bomb Rats. The Deathmaster Crixxit, an assassin designed to hunt enemy Heroes, is also featured, capable of spurring nearby Gutter Runners into action. The City of Ash Gaming Pack provides new rules, objectives, cards, and a gaming board for Spearhead games, including rules for two Spearheads: Sentinels of Embergard and Crixxit’s Kill-Pack.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Black Library is releasing new editions of Horus Heresy Saga books, including False Gods by Graham McNeill and Horus Rising by Dan Abnett. A hardback edition of Andy Clark\u2019s Mortal Realms story, Gloomspite, is also being released.<\/p>\n
Warhammer+ content this week includes Loremasters profiling heroes and monsters of Armageddon, Victory Pointers offering advice on the Age of Sigmar Shooting Phase, a Scrap Demon build challenge, and a trailer for Aeronautica Imperialis. Warhammer Community will provide an inside look at Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh and count down to the release of Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon.<\/p>\n
