Alogic Unveils Touchscreen Monitors for Mac Users

Alogic has introduced a new range of touchscreen displays, including the FOKUS interactive touchscreen series, the Aspekt Touch 27″ monitor, and new Folio portable touchscreen displays, all designed to enable touch and stylus functionality for Mac computers.

Interactive and Portable Displays

The FOKUS series comprises 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch 4K touchscreen displays intended for collaborative spaces such as conference rooms and classrooms. These displays support multitouch interactions and are compatible with Alogic’s Active Stylus, which features 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for detailed drawing and annotation.

For Mac users, a key feature is the enablement of touch gestures, navigation, annotation, and drawing. Since macOS does not natively support touchscreen functionality, Alogic provides software to facilitate these interactions on connected Macs. This capability builds upon similar features offered in the company’s previous touchscreen lines, such as the Clarity series.

Alogic is also launching the Aspekt Touch 27″ monitor, a smaller version of its existing 32-inch model. This new monitor offers multitouch and stylus support, a 4K panel with 600 nits of brightness, and integrated docking capabilities. It includes multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, Ethernet, and audio connections. The display supports HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C inputs, and can provide up to 90 watts of charging power to connected laptops via USB-C.

The Aspekt Touch 27″ is available in Silver and Space Black. It can be paired with three stand options: a standard Raise Stand, a Fold Stand designed for comfortable stylus use, and an Omni Fold Stand that incorporates a mount for a Mac mini at its base.

Portable Solutions for Mobile Users

The new Folio portable touchscreen monitors are designed for users requiring a secondary display while traveling. These monitors feature a folding cover that doubles as a stand and connect via USB-C, making them suitable for MacBooks. The standard Folio model includes a single 16-inch display with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution. The Folio Duo model stacks two of these screens and can be rotated 90 degrees for a side-by-side portrait orientation.

While portable touchscreen displays are common, many only function as standard monitors when connected to a Mac. Alogic differentiates its products by enabling touch input on macOS, allowing users to interact directly with applications, presentations, and creative projects.

Availability and Pricing

The new FOKUS, Aspekt Touch 27″, and Folio displays were showcased at InfoComm 2026. The FOKUS displays are scheduled for release by September, with the 43-inch model priced at $2,799, the 55-inch model at $3,299, and the 65-inch model at $3,999. The Folio ($899) and Folio Duo ($1,299) are also expected to be available around September. The Aspekt Touch 27″ starts at $1,799 and will be available next month, along with the Active Stylus with wireless charging for $149.

These products emerge amid ongoing interest in touchscreen Macs. Although reports suggest Apple has explored such hardware, the company has not yet released a Mac with a touch-enabled display. Third-party solutions like Alogic’s monitors currently offer Mac users a way to integrate touch functionality into their setups.
