Israel-Iran Conflict: Trump rejects the Leaked Intelligence Report, Find out the Big Details

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at the US media after an intelligence report prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the intelligence arm of the Pentagon, reportedly got leaked and it stated that American strikes did not damage the core components of Iran’s nuclear programme but has only set it back by few months. As of June 25, both Iran and Israel signaled that the air war between the two nations had ended, at least for now, after Trump publicly scolded them for violating a ceasefire he had announced on June 24 evening.

The initial intelligence assessment of the report indicated that

After the US attacked Iran’s nuclear sites with its B-2 bomber on June 22, Iran launched its retaliatory strikes by targeting America’s Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Monday, June 23.  These missile attacks were launched under the operation ‘Annunciation of Victory’ on US military bases. These triggered closures of air spaces in several gulf countries, with the following countries shutting their airspace until further orders, leading to several international flights being rescheduled and cancelled. Several airlines including Air India Express, Etihad have diverted their flights as a part of the temporary suspension plan.

Russian President Vladimir Putin vows to increase production of hypersonic missiles, fearing impending global conflict as tensions between Israel, Iran and US escalate further. The strikes on Iran by US and Israel have compelled Russia to enhance their missile production, sparking World War III panic globally.

After Iran and Israel accepted the ceasefire announced by President Trump, the US embassy in Jerusalem said it’ll reopen and start its operations from June 25. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian fortified Iran’s commitment to the ongoing ceasefire, declaring that the country will not break the truce unless Israel does so first.  Iran’s state media has said the ceasefire was apparently imposed on Israel, following the successful attack by Tehran’s forces in Qatar.

In the latest turn of events, a dramatic development also came through. President Donald Trump has categorically addressed the media and stated in his official tweet also, that it was his honour to destroy all nuclear facilities and play a pivotal role in suspending the ongoing Israel-Iran Conflict, as a broker to arrange a rather gloomy and unstable ceasefire between the two nations.

Whether this apparent break holds true for the future or will the two neighbouring countries enter the quarrel zone for a repeat encounter is something to be seen, as international media, United Nations, US forces and civilians globally closely monitor the brimming volatility.
