Ayushman Bharat scheme! Get PVC card for free

Beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat scheme will get PVC card for free. The fees charged under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) has been cleared by the government. Now claim your eligibility card for free, if you are a beneficiary.

If you are the beneficiary of Ayushman Yojana (Ayushman Bharat Yojana) or you are going to get your registration soon, then the Modi government has given you big relief. The Modi government has now made the Entitlement Card free, whereas earlier it used to charge 30 rupees. This decision of Modi government will provide a lot of relief to poor families.

The beneficiaries of the Ayushman scheme till now used to contact the Common Service Centers (CSC) for the eligibility card and the rural level operator used to get the card after paying Rs 30. Now for the first time under the new system, taking the card has been free, but the beneficiary will have to pay Rs 15 for duplicate card or reprint. These cards will be given to the beneficiaries after Biometric Authentication.

The government said that Ayushman cards are available in any hospital of PM-JAY, although it is issued free of cost and it will be issued free of cost even further. NHA CEO Ramsevak Sharma said that these cards will replace paper cards. Being printed on PVC will make it easy to maintain this card and like ATMs, beneficiaries can easily carry their purses anywhere in their pocket.

This card is not mandatory for availing the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, but it is part of the mechanism of identification and verification of beneficiaries to keep patients from getting uninterrupted access to health services and to prevent any kind of misconduct and fraud.

The Modi government has taken this decision after a big agreement. An agreement has been reached with the National Health Authority (NHA) and CSC under the Ministry of IT, after which new rules are implemented. For your information, let us know that NHA is a government agency, which looks after the management of the scheme, while CSC is a private agency that handles its production. NHA will pay 20 rupees to CSC for the first time when Ayushman card is issued. The main objective of this agreement is to produce PVC Ayushman cards under the scheme. Apart from this, the system has to be further improved under the scheme.
