Bank holidays March 2021: Banks will remain closed for 5 days in total

This March is going to be a 11-day holiday for banks. It also includes four Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays. Despite various banking facilities being available on digital medium, we often have to go to a bank branch for check clearance, all types of loan related services and various other functions. In such a situation, you should know that banks do not have a holiday on the day you have to deal with your banking work.

Below is the list of holidays for March 2021:

March 5, 2021: This day is Chachar Kut. Banks will have a holiday in Mizoram on this day.

7 March 2021: Due to Sunday on this day, banks will have a weekly holiday.

11 March 2021: This day is Maha Shivaratri. Banks will have a holiday on the day of Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

March 13, 2021: Banks will have a holiday on this day being the second Saturday.

March 14, 2021: Banks will have a weekly holiday on this day being Sunday.

March 21, 2021: Due to Sunday on this day, banks will have a weekly holiday.

 March 22 2021: This day is Bihar Day. This day will be a bank holiday only in the state of Bihar.

March 27, 2021: Banks will have a holiday on this day being the fourth Saturday.

March 28, 2021: Banks will have a weekly holiday on this day being Sunday.

March 29, 2021: This day is Holi. Banks will have a holiday on this day in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Telangana, Manipur, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Goa, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh.

March 30, 2021: This day will also be a holiday on the occasion of Holi in the state of Bihar.
