LPG price hiked, domestic cylinder to cost ₹25 more

March 1 started with a big setback; domestic LPG price (LPG Cylinder Price) has increased by Rs 25 per cylinder. Last month, i.e., in February, the price of LPG cylinder was increased 3 times, in February alone, the cylinder has become expensive by Rs 100, today the increase has become expensive LPG 125 in just 26 days.

The prices of LPG cylinders are reviewed at the beginning of every month and then on the 15th day, then the prices are decided. The IOC increased the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder thrice in February. First on February 4, the second time was on February 14 and the third time on February 25, the price was increased by 25 rupees. Today, LPG cylinder has been made expensive by Rs 25 on the first date of March.

Earlier, 25 rupees were raised on 25 February, 25 rupees on 4 February and 50 rupees per cylinder on 15 February. LPG cylinders have been increasingly expensive since December. During this time, the price of gas has increased by Rs 150. However, there was no change in petrol and diesel prices for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Petrol in Delhi is Rs 90.93 per liter and diesel is Rs 81.32 per liter.

The non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi has now become costlier by Rs 25 to Rs 819, earlier it was Rs 794. Similarly, in Mumbai too, for LPG cylinders, 819 rupees will have to be paid. Kolkata will have to pay maximum of Rs 845.50 for LPG cylinder, in Chennai, customers will have to pay Rs 835 for LPG cylinder.
