PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly known as PUBG Mobile, is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation. PUBG Mobile India has been banned by the Indian Government ever since September 2, 2020, due to increasing tensions on the international border between India and China during that time.
On the other hand, Battlegrounds Mobile India is an upcoming online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by Krafton. The game is the rebranded India-exclusive version of PUBG Mobile, which will be exclusively available for India, and the pre-registration for the same start from May 18, 2021, on the Google Play Store. The Indian version of PUBG or ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ is much safer and advanced in comparison to the PUBG itself as the game will have the settings of parental controls and playtime restrictions for minors (below the age group of 18 years). Battlegrounds Mobile India game release date is yet to be decided.
After the ban of PUBG Mobile in India, yet people had many other alternatives such as Garena Free Fire, COD Mobile, etc, and also the company tied up with Tencent tried their best to bring back the game in the country but they did not have good luck. Fortunately, a few days back, Krafton announced the date of the pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile bringing a smile to all the players of PUBG. This announcement is very good news to all the PUBG lovers and most of them are eagerly waiting for May 18 since it was a long wait of more than a year for all these players.
What is Battlegrounds Mobile? What are the features of Battlegrounds India?
Battlegrounds Mobile will be a free-to-play game experience on mobile devices and will be available for players only in India and the game has a unique logo compared to PUBG Mobile. The game has many benefits and features like it focus more on players’ security, their privacy, and the way the company handles data. Coming to the features in the game, the players in the game are fully clothed when they land on a map in the game. Compared to the PUBG Mobile, this game will be having less bloodshed and the color of the blood in the game will be green and not red.
As per the poster released, people got to see that the game location is similar to PUBG, the Sanhok location. The game can also have some exclusive game contents in the game like its events, its limited-edition costumes, and many more such new features. Krafton is also planning to have a few special tournaments and leagues in the game to increase the fan base of the game and make it interesting to the players too.
What is the new update on the game?
The most important and most wanted point of difference between the two games is that in the Battlegrounds Mobile India game, players under 18 years will require parental consent wherein the users will have to enter their parents’ mobile number to verify parental consent and minors can play only for 3 hours per day and they will not be allowed to spend more than Rs 7,000 on in-app purchases. PUBG Mobile global did not have any such features.
The game company Krafton aahs announced special rewards for those registering from their Android phone on May 18th once the game is launched they can claim for the same and this is only for Indian players.
