Like now the officials have announced saying after May 15 those who do not accept the new terms and conditions of privacy policy related to WhatsApp, then your WhatsApp won’t be deleted or the account won’t be deactivated but a few features only will be dismissed. Even those can be re-actuated on accepting its privacy policy.
What is that you need to know regarding the privacy policy of WhatsApp is that, after May 15 also if you have not accepted then WhatsApp audio and video calls will be stopped in the beginning and gradually the company will stop all its services on your phone increasing your difficulties. So it is mandatory for you to accept its privacy policy at the earliest possible. Not to worry you will be given a little extra time even after May 15 to accept its policy. Even after that if you have not accepted then a few services will be stopped which will force you to either accept or switch to any equivalent of WhatsApp.
What will happen if I don’t accept the new WhatsApp policy?
On not accepting WhatsApp’s new privacy policy by you, your account will not be stopped instead a notification will be sent to such users from the company after May 15 to accept their privacy policy. In a similar manner, you will keep receiving notifications and reminders to accept the same and again on not accepting, the company will stop some of its features for you by which you will have to face difficulty in messaging or making and receiving calls. So you will lose continuity of using WhatsApp.
Even after you receive reminders and you are not accepting the same, you will not be able to see your chat list and will only be able to receive WhatsApp incoming audio and video calls. After so much also yet if you have not accepted then you will even stop receiving WhatsApp incoming audio and video calls and you will not be able to either send messages or receive messages. Therefore the main point to note here is that your WhatsApp account will not be deleted on not accepting their privacy policy but gradually their various services will be stopped forcing you to either accept their privacy policy and shift to any equivalent of WhatsApp.
Hence plan from now itself whether to accept its new policy or to find another one. Many people are fearing whether to accept its policy or not and what happens if accepted? Before seeing your messages and data sent, they will not ask for any kind of your permission instead use it on their own. Hence it is recommended even if you accept the policy, try not sending extreme confidential information and documents through WhatsApp since every message of yours is being monitored.
