MediaTek Collaborates With Intel For Avail New 5G Modem To Computers

MediaTek collaborates with Intel for avail new 5G modem to computers. Dell and HP are supposed to be among the first original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to offer laptops powered by Intel and MediaTek’s 5G solution. The first rollout of gadgets is normal for mid 2021, MediaTek said.

Through this organization, Intel has been working with MediaTek on the 5G solution for solution in key customer and business laptop flagship. MediaTek is building up the 5G modem and working with accomplices to make the solution.

Joe Chen, MediaTek President said in a statement, “Our 5G modem for PCs, developed in partnership with Intel, is integral to making 5G accessible and available across home and mobile platforms. With this partnership, consumers will be able to browse, stream and game faster on their PCs, but we also expect them to innovate with 5G in ways we have not yet imagined.”

MediaTek’s new 5G modem for PCs is situated to a limited extent on its Helio M70 5G modem it presented not long ago as a major aspect of its coordinated 5G system on-chip for the main influx of 5G powered smartphones.

General Manager and Intel Executive Vice President, Client Computing Group, Gregory Bryant said, “5G is poised to unleash a new level of computing and connectivity that will transform the way we interact with the world.
